My name is April and I live in beautiful southern Ohio. I am a the mother of 3 daughters and I love sewing, graphics, web design, and machine embroidery. I am happily married to my best friend Danny. I currently offer my clipart, and webgraphics online through my websites, Dowdy Doodles and Dowdy Doodles (DIY eStore). I also offer embroidery designs at Machine Embroidery Mall as Teaberry House Designs.
Dowdy Doodles was created in March of 2003. I had previously created Peddler's Point to offer hand made crafts and sold my creations through eBay. My next venture was Teaberry House Designs after I received an embroidery machine for Christmas. I began digitizing and offering my designs on the website. After searching for suitable clipart for digitizing and realizing the many problems associated with copyright issues and difficulty finding clean clipart to use, I decided to learn to draw my own.
My clipart is mouse drawn by me. My webgraphics are created with my clipart and tubes or other elements from other graphic artists which I have permission to use. The embroidery designs I offer are my own creations as well.
